For our film our goal was to show the process of how we start our ideas and the progression of our research and sketchbook work. We started off by filming out critiques of each other work. We felt this was necessary because its how we build off our ideas to take us in new directions for the project. Our overall mood of the film is to be informative with our information given to each other. We wanted to create a relaxed tone for our film and that was scene through our methods of filming. As we talked over our footage we would slow down parts of the film to show the slow process and ideas. The drawing shots of our video was to show the useful process of observational drawing to help create new images of your work or to progress it into something else. However, instead of drawing all the same thing each group member drew from their own research and inspiration behind their own project. The photo used in our video was taken from Ruth Hogben's art video. We felt that the image really unified our ideas all together showing Natural form, sea life, and kaleidoscope, these elements brought all our ideas into one photo. Overall, our video showed the progression of how we all stated our projects and the journey we go through to get to our end result.
